Grindstone 3 (v3.1.106) Release Notes

We apologize for the seemingly excessive frequency of hot fixes that have been applied over the past week. To create Grindstone 3.1, we have to touch almost every part of the codebase. As a result, the potential for kinks and glitches to escape our attention was higher than normal. We have, however, been fixing them steadily as you've been reporting them and we now feel that we have Grindstone 3.1 up to the standard of quality we know you expect. Updates should now calm down quite a bit.

On Saturday, March 18, there will be a Twitter chat hosted by the Epiforge Dev and UX Team Leads concerning Grindstone 3. The chat's Twitter hashtag is "#grindstone3", it will begin at 1:00 PM US Eastern (6:00 PM UTC) and last for approximately an hour. If you have any questions to ask or thoughts to share on where Grindstone has been or where it is headed, this is the perfect time to do it.

If you're not a Twitter buff, you can create a Twitter account and sign in to this simple chatroom to participate:

Hi Daniel,

I'm assuming your entry stating the tweets will be on 'Saturday, March 18', you actually mean 'Saturday, May 18'

You are correct. Sorry about the mistake there.

Hi
There are still some problems with the gap detector.
Perhaps not the most critical, but I use it quite frequently.
When choosing between what times it will find gaps, it's 9:00 a.m. to 17:00 no matter what you have written yourself. I hope and assume it's a quick fix :)

(Being able to set a time that sort out any gap that includes that time would be an easy way of not having to see the breaks that we know occurs during that time. But the exact start and stop may vary. Being able to set up many of these times would be wonderful)
But additional featurs may not be priority at the moment. :)

Keep up the good work
Nils H
